Nederland

My husband and I flew into Amsterdam, bought used bikes, and set out on a 3-week bike trip covering almost 500 miles. Riding through the Netherlands was picturebook perfect. The tiny ground of Nederland seemed beautifully manicured, organized and precise. The golden hay fields, waterways, row houses and windmills were spaced in intentional rhythm alongside our bicycles. Upon return home, I desired to find a material that would speak of this tight, clean, and calculated landscape. I found that vinyl allowed for this quality of line that I desired while still leaving room for playful interpretation.
